A man from North Carolina came into our shop awhile back with a desire to improve his bike's performance. After performance enhancements that fulfilled his wishes he departed and we didn't see him for some time because, like I said, he lives in North Carolina. After a few months had elapsed he showed up in Daytona again and revisited our shop. He related a story to us about being on a ride with some of his biker buddies in North Carolina. At a red light they began harrassing him for spending his hard earned money at a non-Harley-Davidson Dealership for his performance work. Then he added "... we all took off from that red light and very soon they were harrassing me from about one-half mile behind me". He swears that no one can keep up with him.. And with much satisfaction he related how all his buddies got much more expensive performance enhancements from their Harley-Davidson dealerships. True story
